British Columbia Breeding Population Numbers

I just got a copy of the spring Breeding population survey for BC. Good news for Pacific Flyway folks - total ducks up from 417K (2025) to 477K (2026).

Mallards were top duck, but Ring-necked Ducks were a close second; Scaup not too far behind, and Bufflehead as #4.
