Odd but sexy addition

American White Pelicans nest in large colonies in much of the PPR.  They feed, but do not nest at the Delta Marsh. They need large upland islands for their colonies.

Prior to the breeding season both sexes grow that enlarged bump on their bill. Apparently, that makes you a sexy looking pelican.
